By the Word of the LORD

Psa 33:6-9  By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath [Ruach] of his mouth.  (7)  He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.  (8)  Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.  (9)  For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.

Heb 11:3  Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear

Psa 19:1-4  The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.  (2)  Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.  (3)  There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.  (4)  Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

The Word which brought forth the trees of Eden, and developed them into perfect beauty, has never ceased to sound through the earth, and there is no speech nor language where this voice is not heard. Every sprouting seed and swelling bud is a vibration; every leaf a whisper; every blossom an echo; and every seed-pod a prophecy as well as a fulfilment of the Almighty Word which in the beginning clothed the earth with verdure, and filled it with life. {February 26, 1903 EJW, PTUK 129.5}

The Levites, in their hymn recorded by Nehemiah, sung, "Thou, even thou, art Lord alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things therein, . . . and thou preservest them all." [Nehemiah 9:6.] As regards this world, God's work of creation is completed. For "the works were finished from the foundation of the world." [Hebrews 4:3.] But his energy is still exerted in upholding the objects of his creation. It is not because the mechanism that has once been set in motion continues to act by its own inherent energy, that the pulse beats, and breath follows breath; but every breath, every pulsation of the heart is an evidence of the all-pervading care of Him in whom "we live, and move, and have our being." [Acts 17:28.]… He "maketh grass to grow upon the mountains," and by him the valleys are made fruitful. All the beasts of the field seek their meat from God, [Psalm 147:8; 104:20, 21.] and every living creature, from the smallest insect up to man, is daily dependent upon his providential care. In the beautiful words of the psalmist, "These wait all upon thee. . . . That thou givest them they gather; thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good." [Psalm 104:27, 28.] His word controls the elements, he covers the heavens with clouds, and prepares rain for the earth. CE 195,196

Gen 1:2  (YLT) the earth hath existed waste and void, and darkness is on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God fluttering [H7363] on the face of the waters,

Col 1:17  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. [Hold Together (NIV)]

"By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth." In the Century Magazine of May, 1891, there was a very interesting description of the production of voice-figures. The article was entitled "Visible Sound." Mrs. Watts Hughes had employed a simple device to test the intensities of vocal sounds. It was an elastic membrane stretched over the mouth of a receiver, into which receiver the voice was introduced by means of a wide mouthed tube. On this membrane sand or fine powder was sprinkled. It was found that upon singing into the tube the powder was gently agitated by the vibrations of the membrane, which vibrations correspond to those of the voice, differing according to the pitch and intensity of the sound. This, of course, was what might be expected. But the wonder was that in every instance the agitation produced the shape of some plant or flower, or even of some of the lower forms of animal life. Something similar to this may be seen when one breathes upon the window pane in frosty weather.  {1893 EJW, Gospel in Creation 22.1}

This shows that the breath, as it comes from the lungs, has the shape of living things, and to the singer suggested a thought, which she thus expresses:-

"Closing now my brief sketch of these voice-figures, as I have observed them, I would add that my experiments have been made as a vocalist, using my own voice as the instrument of investigation; and I must leave it for others more acquainted with natural science to adjust the accordance of the these appearances with facts and laws already known. Yet, passing from one stage to another of these inquiries, question after question has presented itself to me, until I have continually felt myself standing before mystery, in great part hidden, although some glimpses seem revealed. And I must say, besides, that as day by day I have gone on singing into shape these peculiar forms, and, stepping out of doors, have seen their parallels living in the flowers, ferns, and trees around me; and, again, as I have watched the little heaps in the formation of the floral figures gather themselves up, and then shoot out their petals, just as a flower springs form the swollen bud - the hope has come to me that these humble experiments may afford some suggestions in regard to Nature's production of her own beautiful forms, and may thereby aid, in some slight degree, the revelation of yet another link in the great chain of the organized universe that, we are told in Holy Writ, took its shape at the voice of God." {1893 EJW, Gospel in Creation 23.3}

 “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” “The scientists of today think deeply instead of clearly. One must be sane to think clearly, but one can think deeply and be quite insane.” Nicola Telsa

The polarisation of modern science from true science. The oppositional mind of east and west. Western mind is Logical, empirical, material, existential. Eastern mind is esoteric, spiritual, and experiential.

Sound and light are similar in that both are forms of energy that travel in waves. They both have properties of wavelength, freqency and amplitude. ... Sound can only travel through a medium (substance) while light can travel through empty space.

Light, sound, and colour all operate in frequency or vibration.

Our eyes and ears are vibration frequency or decoders to detect, light, colour and sound. As I studied the subject of vibration in the Spirit of Prophecy I found this quote.

Spirit touches invisible chords – vibrates to the extremity of the universe.

The Holy Spirit

The striking feature of divine operations is the accomplishment of the greatest work that can be done in our world, by very simple means. It is God's plan that every part of his government shall depend on every other part, the whole as a wheel within a wheel, working with entire harmony. He moves upon human forces, causing his Spirit to touch invisible chords, and the vibration rings to the extremity of the universe.  {SpTA10 36.3}  The prince of the power of evil can only be held in check by the power of God in the third person of the Godhead, the Holy Spirit.  {SpTA10 37.1}

John 10:27  My sheep hear my voice, [tone, sound] and I know them, and they follow me:

The Holy Spirit is a free, working, independent agency. The God of heaven uses His Spirit as it pleases Him; and human minds, human judgment, and human methods can no more set boundaries to its working, or prescribe the channel through which it shall operate, than they can say to the wind, "I bid you to blow in a certain direction, and to conduct yourself in such and such a manner."  {FLB 52.4}

Pray that the mighty energies of the Holy Spirit, with all their quickening, recuperative, and transforming power, may fall like an electric shock on the palsy-stricken soul, causing every nerve to thrill with new life, restoring the whole man from his dead, earthly, sensual state to spiritual soundness. {5T 267.2}

Evil Spirit – Prince of the Power of the Air

Prince of the Power of the Air The spirit that works in the children of disobedience.

This last temptation was the most alluring of the three. Satan knew that Christ's life must be one of sorrow, hardship, and conflict. And he thought he could take advantage of this fact to bribe Christ to yield His integrity. Satan brought all his strength to bear upon this last temptation; for this last effort was to decide his destiny as to who should be victor. He claimed the world as his dominion, and that he was the prince of the power of the air. {Con 52.2}

Eph 2:2  Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

In Him we live and move and have our being.

The Lord understands all this. Jesus assures His disciples of God's sympathy for them in their needs and weaknesses. Not a sigh is breathed, not a pain felt, not a grief pierces the soul, but the throb vibrates to the Father's heart.  {DA 356.2}

There was a time when sin did not exist; when the harmony of perfection reigned supreme. Man broke the chord. Life began to ebb. All nature mourned. Slowly, one by one, the stately trees shed their leaves; the flowers faded. Each blossom as it fell, sounded a death knell throughout the universe of God. But Christ had already covenanted with the Father. His life was offered for this very time. And man,-penitent, sorrowful man,-brought a lamb from the flock, slew it; and its life-blood became a token of the life of Christ. Every creature, from the highest form of creation, down to the insect mote in the sunbeam, lives in the life of God; and when death occurs, a vibration is felt in the heart of the Eternal. In every lamb, slain in all the sacrificial offerings, God saw the blood of His own Son. The heart of the Father was broken when the first lamb was slain; and every time the knife was stained with the blood of an offering, it brought afresh to the mind of God the death of His Son. Christ died of a broken heart. Heaven knows the meaning of a broken heart,-of a life spent,-of hopes blasted. "A broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise." {1905 Stephen Haskell, Story of the Seer of Patmos  104.2}

“and when death occurs, a vibration is felt in the heart of the Eternal”

Gen 4:10  And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth [Shrieks] unto me from the ground.

"In Him we live, and move, and have our being"; "for we are also His offspring." Acts xvii. 28. God is still in Christ, bearing the sins of the world, and the cross is as real to-day as it was the day that Pilate gave judgment against Jesus of Nazareth. Not a soul suffers a pang that God does not feel; for even the fall of a sparrow to the ground sends a vibration to His heart. So it will be until the last great day, when the consummation of the mystery of the cross will be seen. The anguish of Gethsemane and Calvary will be there, and God will be affected the same as before, yea, even as He now is; for it is no light thing for Him to cut off any of His members. E..J. Waggoner Present Truth UK Oct 31, 1901

There is a communication system between our Father in heaven and us through means of vibration. Our Father causes His Spirit to touch invisible chords  in human forces and the vibration rings to the extremity of the universe.

The pure in heart see God in every providence, in every phase of true education. They vibrate to the first approach of light which radiates from the throne of God. Communications from heaven are made to those who will catch the first gleams of spiritual knowledge. FE 414,415

God delights to teach those who will learn of him. The entrance of his word gives light and understanding to the simple. To all who will open their minds to comprehend the precious truths of his word, God will give knowledge that will make them wise unto salvation. We are to strike a keynote that will vibrate to every soul, and bring joy to the heavenly intelligences. Presenting the cross of Calvary, we are to cry, "Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." When we shall cease to trust in man, and shall make God our efficiency, we shall see the earth filled with the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. RH Oct 16, 1900

Should not our souls be in that condition that every chord of the harp of our being shall vibrate with praises to God when touched by the finger of His love! Should we not be in that nearness to God, and have that fullness of Jesus, that our souls shall be elevated, and our attention be ever directed to the grace of God, and we be led to meditate on heaven and heavenly things?  {2SAT 50.1}

You have been bought with a price, by the death of the only begotten Son of God. Your heart beats on. On that pulsation depends your life. Its beating is independent of your will. You eat and sleep in careless indifference. But God's guardian care over you is unceasing. He controls the ebb and flow of the vital current. Where is the gratitude that should rise from human lips for His preserving care? Where is the recognition of His unceasing watchfulness?. . .  {UL 50.3}

Every pulsation of the heart is a rebound from the touch of the finger of God. He watches over us by day, and under his wings we find shelter by night. His preserving care is over us, whether we wake or sleep. He is as a sentinel to guard us from Satan's power, or we should be taken captive by him. {RH, December 2, 1890 par. 15}

What Peaked the Interest in this Study?

My interest in this subject has been peaked through our the study of the dominion of the earth. What is the relationship between man and nature. The following quote really opened a series of thoughts processes.

Atmosphere Around Every Man

The influence of every man's thoughts and actions surrounds him like an invisible atmosphere, which is unconsciously breathed in by all who come in contact with him. This atmosphere is frequently charged with poisonous influences, and when these are inhaled, moral degeneracy is the sure result.  {5T 111.1}

This speaks the truth of what the Scripture teaches when it says

Rom 14:7  For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

The influence of thought on earth. Charging the atmosphere with poisonous influences.

The Dominion of the Earth

Are these elements in the creation and man simply separate events happening at the same time or is there a relationship between the strife of men and the convulsions of nature? Is it possible that when we are at peace within ourselves and in our communities that the earth itself is influenced in some way? Conversely if we are conflicted and turbulent within ourselves and our relationships, could the earth also be affected by this? The Dominion of the Earth Page 5

Isa 24:4-6; Lev 18:25; Gen 6:11-12 – Examples of man’s sinfulness on the earth.

When Adam sinned, the earth that was tuned to his dominion received from him the charged atmosphere of rebellion and fear. Thus the earth was cursed.

Under the curse of sin all nature was to witness to man of the character and results of rebellion against God. When God made man He made him rule over the earth and all living creatures. So long as Adam remained loyal to Heaven, all nature was in subjection to him. But when he rebelled against the divine law, the inferior creatures were in rebellion against his rule. Thus the Lord, in His great mercy, would show men the sacredness of His law, and lead them, by their own experience, to see the danger of setting it aside, even in the slightest degree. PP 59, 60

When Cain sinned man was

Gen 4:10-11  And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.  (11)  And now art thou cursed from [out of] the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;

The Lord understands all this. Jesus assures His disciples of God's sympathy for them in their needs and weaknesses. Not a sigh is breathed, not a pain felt, not a grief pierces the soul, but the throb vibrates to the Father's heart.  {DA 356.2}

Gen 4:12  When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.

Cain negatively charged the atmosphere with hate, murder and then fear, guilt and anguish. These emotions vibrate into the earth and reduce its capacity to yield its force or strength.

Water memory experiments or plants with music experiments demonstrate the effect of vibration on living things. Current science rejects this arena because it does not follow Telsa’s advice that the secrets of the universe are in energy, frequency and vibration.

Sentics.

Mamfred Clynes an Austrian neuroscientist studied the waveforms of touch, emotion, and music. A musician can create music forms to simulate different human emotions such as love, peace, reverence, hate, anger, sensuality. Thus when we open ourselves up to certain forms of music we can be vibrated through to music to begin to experience emotions that are simulated in the music form.

Rom 8:22  For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

How does the whole of the creation groan? It is impacted by the atmosphere or frequencies generated by man that are full of hate, murder, fear and rebellion.

It is through the Holy Spirit that we receive vibration that places us in harmony with our Father, His Son and the Angels. The mighty energies can fall upon us like an electric shock and bring us to life. We would not say the Holy Spirit is vibration but it causes it

He moves upon human forces, causing his Spirit to touch invisible chords, and the vibration rings to the extremity of the universe.  {SpTA10 36.3}

Only as we receive the Holy Spirit can we vibrate in harmony with heaven and then become a point from which blessing or atmosphere is passed to others

John 7:38-39  He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.  (39)  (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

How do we receive the Holy Spirit?

  1. Repentance. Acts 2:38
  2. Ask in Prayer. Luke 11:13
  3. Obedience Acts 5:32
  4. Times of Refreshing Acts 3:19,20 – Sabbath, New Moon, Feasts.

All heaven was represented to me as beholding and watching upon the Sabbath those who acknowledge the claims of the fourth commandment and are observing the Sabbath. Angels were marking their interest in, and high regard for, this divine institution. Those who sanctified the Lord God in their hearts by a strictly devotional frame of mind, and who sought to improve the sacred hours in keeping the Sabbath to the best of their ability, and to honor God by calling the Sabbath a delight--these the angels were specially blessing with light and health, and special strength was given them. But, on the other hand, the angels were turning from those who failed to appreciate the sacredness of God's sanctified day, and were removing from them their light and their strength. I saw them overshadowed with a cloud, desponding, and frequently sad. They felt a lack of the Spirit of God.  {2T 704.3}

Living Bread from Heaven.

Sabbath is double portion of the Spirit. This brings more activity of moving upon human forces to touch invisible chords and bring us into harmony with our Father and His Son.

The New moon expands this by bringing a 4 fold Sabbath blessing.

The feast of unleavened bread brings a 30fold blessing for those who were showing:

“interest in, and high regard for, this divine institution”

The New Age talk about finding different ways to raise your vibrational level. It is a works based enterprise that is focused on self-actualisation as your own god.

In the relational kingdom as we repent and die to self in the light of gospel truth, we are brought into a relationship with our Father through the Spirit of Christ and receive a vibrational tuning to bring us into harmony with heaven. It is only though the mighty agency of the Spirit that brings this frequency to us that we can overcome the prince of the power of evil.

We stress the Holy Spirit is not simply vibration, but Ellen White says it brings vibration and our souls will vibrate in harmony with heaven. We then become filled with the Spirit and overflow and charge the atmosphere with beautiful vibrational forms that will bring blessings to others and not harm them.

Some will be repulsed by the language but the Spirit of prophecy uses it and in its correct framework it shows us the wonder of the Sabbath. Angels who are filled with the Spirit of God vibrate with His love and when they come close to us we can receive from them that living water that they receive from Christ.

We do not seek to restrict or define the work of the Spirit but vibration is clearly part of its work. The New Age counterfeits this and turns man into his own god.

Some Implications

Our thoughts and feelings in our relationships have an impact on everyone around us. If we are hiding depression, sorrow and anger. This charges the atmosphere around you.

With this knowledge we can’t simply preach a message while our souls are hiding our resentments, frustrations and depression. The hidden conflicts within our relationships will prevent us from taking part in striking a keynote that will vibrate to every soul.

The light which will lighten the earth with its glory is a message not simply of empty words but with vibrational force that will pour forth out of our hearts (belly)

The Sabbath fountain will play a central part in bring us into harmony with heaven that we might receive the seal of God.

…at the commencement of the time of trouble, we were filled with the Holy Ghost as we went forth and proclaimed the Sabbath more fully. EW 33
