If You be the Son of God

You wouldn't believe what just happened to me brothers and sisters, I had just started a blog and it was getting to the meaty bit when my blog just vanished, funny that. I just hope that I can capture the essence of what God was assisting me to put forward.

It came to my attention a few days ago when I was watching a study on dvd and one of the bible texts was in 1 john 2:18-25. I was wondering what is this anti-christ is all about and what does it mean in relation to the Godhead. I see the whole controversy as simple as, is Jesus really the Son or should I say, the literal Son of God? Rhetorical question.

The trinity says the there are 3 gods and these 3 are one. Also they are the same age, power and glory. In my mind, how can Jesus be the Father's Son if He is the same age. My earthly son is not my age, as a matter of fact he will never be as old as me. I know this might seem to some as a poor illustration and as a matter of fact a good friend of mine suggested that I can't possibly use earthly illustrations to understand the Godhead until I remembered a verse and Adrian pointed it out to me in Romans 1:20

For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even the eternal power and (GET THIS)" Godhead". Yes you heard right,  don't let anyone tell you that we can not understand the Godhead in human illustrations. Jesus did in parables, wheat and the tares, sowing the seed, the sheep and their Shepard and so on.

Matthew 4:1-11 satan questions Jesus 3 times on His Sonship. Why would he do that, because Jesus' relationship with His Father has always been in question. In the trinity it would suggest that at one point Jesus became the Father's Son, therefore He was not always the Son. Either He is or He isn't the literal Son of God. As I mentioned earlier the anti-christ is the one that denys the Father and the Son.

The trinity is a mystery or should i say, CONFUSION. The Godhead is relational.

I think to myself, what is so appealing about the trinity doctrine anyway?

What is so non-appealing about the Godhead doctrine?

The later is relational, every one that chooses to have a relationship it takes commitment, self-sacrifice, submission and humility. The only way to have a successful relationship with anyone you must have these attributes to be successful, however the former you don't have to have these things as they (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) are not related.

My head is reeling with all these truths and concepts.

I hope that none of these statements have caused anyone any pain.

I am human, subject to human passions. A sinner saved by the Grace of God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

I pray all will be blessed that read.
