Thoughts on the book, "My Beloved".

I originally got on Maranatha Media to read the book "My Beloved" since I gave it to some friends without having read it and no longer had a copy for myself. Halfway through the book, I wanted to leave a comment to thank Brother Adrian for sharing his testimony in print. I was so cheered to read how the Father kept him and his family close to Him despite the hardships. My husband seems to feel life in a similar way as described in the book. By reading the story, it helped me to understand him better. Also, I went through some things because of my acceptance of the Father & Son message, and reading Br. Adrian's testimony was encouraging to me. My rejection wasn't as wide scale as his (just within family and friends), but I could relate with the mental and emotional turmoil. There were other several situations that pressed me at the same time as well. Before everything came crashing down, the Father actually spoke to me and said, "You will go through the fire, but you will not be burned." As I went through my fire, that voice was the only thing that kept me going on at times. There were many days that I was amazed that I was still breathing because I felt like I no longer had life in me. However, my heavenly Father is always good and these verses really came alive to me at that time:

Job 23

1Then Job answered and said,

Even to day is my complaint bitter: my stroke is heavier than my groaning.

Oh that I knew where I might find him! that I might come even to his seat!

I would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments.

I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me.

Will he plead against me with his great power? No; but he would put strength in me.

There the righteous might dispute with him; so should I be delivered for ever from my judge.

Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him:

On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him:

10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.

I'm thankful to Br. Adrian for personally sharing his testimony for all to read and I'm thankful for the Father and Son who preserves us all. Thanks to all who have gone ahead and endured much affliction and for giving their lives to the Father and Son in order to bless others! By their testimonies and encouragement, I am sure these familiar trials will be easier to bear for those who will follow on the same path.

May we all come forth as gold.

All glory to the Father and Son,

Sr. Charienna
