Is God a Liar?

"The primary part of the trinity that I reject is its underlying subtle suggestion that God is a liar. I even tremble as I type this. The Father has only spoke directly to mankind 3 times since our fall. Each was in the presence of Jesus. Twice he said that Jesus is His Son. The trinity says not really, just roll playing or metaphor. Bold claim to disagree with the Father. Some try to say that the Holy spirit that descended like a dove at the same time must have been a different Being than the Father. Yet if they believe EGW, How do they reconcile this with what she says. I choose to believe the Bible in just what it says except the two verses, Matthew 28:19 and 1st John 5:7 which the catholic church fully admits and boasts that they added to the manuscripts the Bible was taken from. Our SDA Bible commentaries reveal the same. The Bible clearly teaches that our fellowship is with the Father and Son. Here is Ellen Whites quote on just what the dove at Christs baptism was.

"Never before had angels listened to such a prayer as Christ offered at his baptism, and they were solicitous to be the bearers of the message from the Father to his Son. But, no! direct from the Father issues the light of his glory. The heavens were opened, and beams of glory rested upon the Son of God and assumed the form of a dove, in appearance like burnished gold. The dove-like form was emblematical of the meekness and gentleness of Christ. While the people stood spell-bound with amazement, their eyes fastened upon Christ, from the opening heavens came these words: "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." The words of confirmation that Christ is the Son of God were given to inspire faith in those who witnessed the scene, and to sustain the Son of God in his arduous work. Notwithstanding the Son of God was clothed with humanity, yet Jehovah, with his own voice, assures him of his sonship with the Eternal. In this manifestation to his Son, God accepts humanity as exalted through the excellence of his beloved Son. RH, January 21, 1873

Yet I am sure that somehow this will not be believed by most who cannot believe the truths simply placed in the scriptures. And BTW, this is not a new teaching. It was one of the Pillars of truth that sustained our church the first 50 years. It was only after the rejection of the 1888 message that we soon also began to reject the God of this message.

"Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. I receive not honour from men. But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you. I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive."(Joh 5:39-43)
