Hi Brothers and Sisters from around the world,
I wanted to share this with you as I have begun a journey into the centre of Australia with the desire to share the good news of our saviour's soon coming... It has so far taken me into some very remote areas and although I am often lonely, I am never alone as the Lord is so close to me... I have had so many experiences recently which have revealed His leading that I am comforted to know that I am on the right path. Its not as easy as opening your bible out here. People want to see you live your faith before they will even discuss anything about God.
I have been confronted with the worry about income as I am wholly reliant on what God provides for me. In the past I have worked in Brisbane as an air conditioning/refrigeration technician with many contracts that guaranteed work but also filled my life with stress and kept me from my Lord.
Coming out here, I have recently been offered a very large and lucrative contract as God is blessing my work and hands... I turned the deal down as I knew it would not benefit my relationship with God ( I was fighting on the inside because my self reliant nature wanted the security of constant work but I wanted to rely on God). The same day, a couple approached me and invited me to come to their cattle station to carry out some work. the people had come to the place I was staying at to pick up some supplies and the supplies were not there, the attendant then told them that I was an air con tech and was looking for work... their eyes lit up and they mentioned that they had lots of work for me. The man's wife exclaimed " obviously this was the reason we were meant to come here today"!!!! I had to find a quiet place to pray as I could not contain my tears of thanks and gratitude to my heavenly Father for supplying all my needs before I had asked.
More to come......
some roads are REALLY rough :-)
Everywhere dirt raods.. bitumen is a luxury out here!
Giant termite mounds in the background
the most spectacular sun sets... God is sooooo creative!
4:30 am and I am blessed with this view as I awake on the roof of my truck
A water bore with a wind driven pump to keep the necessary water supply to the 65,000 head of cattle on this cattle station
A river crossing to get to my desired destination
very few trees out here
A road train leaves a truck stop to deliver goods to all the waiting stations
I pull up for the night as dribing at night puts my truck at too much risk of damage from Kangaroos
Emus say goodmorning
a washed out creek bed after the recent floods
a bottle tree in the field
its a long way :-)
I thought it was a shooting star but it turned out just to be plane :-(
