Life Source and the Blessing of Abraham show video ▼hide video ▲

Maranatha Media Bible Training Program - Aug 3, 2015

Explores how our understanding of where life comes from affects our relationships and especially family relationships.

Reveals how the family structure of Abraham was the key to providing and preserving the Blessing. The ability to preserve the blessing when Christ came was connected to the blessing structure in the home of Abraham where he commanded His family and household after him. Sarah respect and honour of her husband as evidenced by calling him a title of respect and Abraham's care and provision for his family reflect this blessing structure. The blessing of Abraham is connected to correct family structure.

The Agape Motor and the Gospel as a Channel of Blessing show video ▼hide video ▲

The fountain of joy flowing forth from the Father's heart at the birth of His Son is the foundation of our inheritance in Christ. The Words which God spoke to His Son - you are my Son this day I have begotten you is spoken to each of us in Christ. The resulting joy in the heart of Christ to know His Sonship to the Father is secure and unshakable and that He has been given all things returns a tide of gratitude and love in return to the great source of all. This is the agape motor of love and truly our fellowship is with the Father and the Son!

The Sufferings of Christ show video ▼hide video ▲

Isa 63:9  In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.

Heb 6:6  If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Christ feels the woes of every sufferer. When evil spirits rend a human frame, Christ feels the curse. When fever is burning up the life current, He feels the agony. DA 823

By every sin Jesus is wounded afresh; and as we look upon Him whom we have pierced, we mourn for the sins that have brought anguish upon Him. Such mourning will lead to the renunciation of sin.  {DA 300.3}

Sabbath Blessing More Fully show video ▼hide video ▲

All the truths of God's word came from Him. But these priceless gems had been placed in false settings. Their precious light had been made to minister to error. God desired them to be removed from their [288] settings of error and replaced in the framework of truth. This work only a divine hand could accomplish. By its connection with error, the truth had been serving the cause of the enemy of God and man. Christ had come to place it where it would glorify God, and work the salvation of humanity.  {DA 287.4}
     "The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath," Jesus said. The institutions that God has established are for the benefit of mankind. "All things are for your sakes." "Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; and ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's." 2 Corinthians 4:15; 1 Corinthians 3:22, 23. The law of Ten Commandments, of which the Sabbath forms a part, God gave to His people as a blessing. "The Lord commanded us," said Moses, "to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive." Deuteronomy 6:24.
