Heart of the Law

In the very center of the Ten Commandments is the center of the fourth commandment.  Fifteen verses comprise the Ten Words of God as listed below with the number of words in each verse. Notice the fourth commandment, spanning verses 8-11 is by far the longest:

20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 8
20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 36
