Matt 28:18-20

For way too long have i never had a satisfactory and full explanation for this baptismal formula which is so out of sorts with the actual Biblical models that reveal Jesus as the only Name to be baptized into. It wasn't sufficient to try to argue that it might have been an interpolation (like we can do with 1 John 5:6-8), that's hardly good enough for a trinitarian to hang his hat upon. And it's not acceptable to quote to outsiders, as i often did, certain passages from the Spirit of Prophecy which in themselves didn't provide clear-cut support to nullify those seemingly out of place passages.

But a few weeks ago i was blessed abundantly by a study i saw in which was shown the Scriptures in question taken from the Hebraic Roots Bible, excerpted below, which shone the Light so brightly that i'm still excited over the illuminating experience, and i marveled at the simplicity of the interpretation which so easily dispels, for me, any threat of future embarrassment by being shackled to an unsatisfactory explanation.

18  And coming up Yahshua talked with them, saying, All authority in Heaven and on earth was given to Me.
19  Then having gone, disciple all nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and the Son,
20  and the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe all things, whatever I command you. And, behold, I am with you all the days until the completion of the age. Amen.

Just like the thief on the cross, it's marvelous what a punctuation mark, in the correct place, can do. Need any more be said?

Blessings abundantly.
