Pattern of Truth

In contemplating the divine order, can we see a pattern of truth for “last day events”? We know that flesh must be subject to the spirit. This means that the mind has authority over the body. We know that whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer—mind over body. We have heard the teaching from the Sermon on the Mount that makes us aware that lusting after a woman in our hearts is adultery—mind over body. Having an incorrect mental view of the Father and Son is idolatry. Idolatry takes place in the mind before it is manifested in physical actions. In fact, this principle of mind over body seems to aptly fit all of the commandments—not just the prohibitions against murder, adultery, and idolatry.
What about the spurious sabbath? Is it possible that we may have entered into a false spiritual rest while proclaiming to keep the Sabbath of the fourth commandment?
Concerning the spurious sabbath, what is the day of rest of the adversary? “The apostate is never at rest, except as he obtains sympathy and support by inducing others to follow his example” (Great Controversy, pg. 505)
Which mark have we received in our foreheads?
