The Law - A Part of Himself (The Father)

Notice the pattern of "Part of Himself"

God's love for the world was not manifest because He sent His Son, but because He loved the world He sent His Son into the world that divinity clothed with humanity might touch humanity, while divinity lays hold of divinity. Though sin had produced a gulf between man and his God, a divine benevolence provided a plan to bridge that gulf. And what material did He use? A part of Himself. The brightness of the Father's glory came to a world all seared and marred with the curse, and in His own divine character, in His own divine body, bridged the gulf. OHC 6

The great and holy One is a jealous God, and He will have holy men to carry His truth. The holy law (channel) spoken by God (source) from Sinai is a part of Himself, and holy men who are its strict observers will alone honor Him by teaching it to others. {EW 101.2}

She [Eve(channel)]was a part of himself, [Adam(source)] and he could not endure the thought of separation. PP 56

At the last day He (source) will raise them (channel) as a part of himself. He declares, "As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. RH June 18, 1901

The key of part of Himself is the divine pattern of source and channel. (1 Cor 8:6) They cannot be separated for one is an expression of the other.

The Law of God is a visible channel of the invisible God. The principles of the Ten Commandments find their source in the Father and are manifested through the Channel of the Ten Commandments as a permanent expression of God's character. This Law is manifested in the person of the Son of God who delights to do the will of the Father and in His Law He delights. Ps 40:8. This is part of the reason the Son is part of Himself even as the Law is part of Himself. They both express the character of God and are channels for the source found in the Father.
