We are an Agape gift from the Father to His Son

“God so loved men and women that in order to save them He gave His Son to the world, and in that gift He gave all heaven.“ Ctr 279.4

Just as the Son is an Agape gift from the Father to us we also as his redeemed people are an Agape gift from the Father to his Son.

I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were and thou gavest them me … John 17, 6

I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. John 17, 9

Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am … John 17, 24

And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he has given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. John 6, 39

Because we are the gift of His Father, and the reward of His work, Jesus loves us. He loves us as His children. Reader, he loves you. Heaven itself can bestow nothing greater, nothing better. Therefore trust.” DA 483. 3

The Father is always the giver, the channel is always the Son. How precious is this truth! How precious is every single man and every woman in the eyes of the Father and the Son? As it is written:

I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir. Isaiah 13, 12

Christ’s redeemed ones are His jewels, His precious and peculiar treasure. “They shall be as the stones of a crown,”—“the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.” [Zechariah 9:16; Ephesians 1:18.] In them “He shall see of the travail of His soul, and shall be satisfied. [Isaiah 53:11.] {GW 517.2}

It makes me so happy to know that we are a gift from the Father to his beloved Son. The Father loves us so, that he gave his only begotten Son for us. The Son loves us because we are a gift of his beloved Father and because he died for us. No one can pluck us out of Jesus' hand (John 10, 28). No one can pluck us out of the Fathers hand, because He is greater than all (John 10, 29).

What an incredible assurance! There is nothing more marvelous for a woman or a man in this world. No more space for any Identity War in our mind! Never before I have had such a deep sense of being loved, appreciated, protected, sheltered, supplied, desired. The Father indeed is pure Agape and He enjoys satisfying all the needs of His Son and the whole creation including emotional needs. He is the source of everything! Wow, what a truth is that! What a God is that! What a future is waiting for us! Thank you, Father; thank you, Jesus!

What else can we say then?

“Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.”

John 10, 29
