Dear maranatha media subscriber

Recently our family read through the book of Revelation as part of our family worship. We have been greatly blessed to read through the book and share together on the message contained therein. As we read through Revelation 21, we were comforted by the thought that our Father in heaven will wipe away all tears from our eyes and that the former things of this sad world will be remembered bo more. What a blessed thought. Then we came upon this verse.

Rev 21:7 ?He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

The words struck my mind "...and he shall be my son." Over the next few days, thoughts of these words kept filling my mind and a sense of comfort each time they came to me. I began to think, what more could I desire than to hear our heavenly Father pronouce me to be one of his sons. I could not think of anything more wonderful than this. Can you picture yourself standing before the Father with your sweet Saviour's arm around you, and hearing these simple words "my son" "my daughter."

When I look back over my life and I see the weaknesses, faults and flaws; the pain I have caused others with my words and deeds; when I look upon the cross of Calvary and consider at what cost my salvation was purchased and all the tireless intercession of my Saviour and the protection and care of the angels. When I consider these things and then think that the God who made all things; who is so pure, holy and righteous, would call me His son. Would He indeed say this of me? WIll I stand before Him in reality and hear those sweet words fall upon my ears? What saith the first part of the verse:

He that overcometh...

What is it that we must overcome? Verse 8 gives us the key

Rev 21:8 ?But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

The first things to overcome is fear and unbelief. Fear of what??Fear that we will not be accepted? Fear of what men think above the Word of God; fear for our lives. Unbelief in what? Unbelief that we are accepted in the beloved Son Eph 1:6; Unbelief that when we confess our sins that He is faith and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Unbelief that God send His only begotten Son into the world that whoever believes on Him should have eternal life. If we do not overcome on these first two points we will find it almost impossible not to be dragged into the other parts of the list mentioned in verse 8.

What assurance do you have that you will stand before our Father and hear those sweet words fall upon your ear? Do you have an anchor that holds the soul? I certainly have found an anchor and it is found in the Words that our heavenly Father spoke to Jesus.

Matt 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

When I am tempted to fear that I am not acceptable to our Father; when I confess my sins and still I feel that nagging doubt seeking to separate me from the certainty of the Word, I look to Christ and see the acceptance that the Father has for Him; I see the love the Father has for Him and I believe that what I see between God and His Son is freely given to me. The God of our Lord Jesus Christ is also my God. The Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is also my Father John 20:17

In the Sonship of Jesus rests my assurance of acceptance with the Father. His acceptance is my acceptance by faith. The blessing He receives from the Father I receive from Christ our Saviour. Indeed, in very deed, I am accepted in the Beloved Eph 1:6

This is how I can be certain that I can hear those sweet words. My son.

Recent News and Developments

Over the past number of weeks I have been blessed to receive a number of emails and phone calls from people who are finding sweet assurance in the love of the Father through His Son as they have listened to or watched or read the Identity Wars series. One brother stated to me "I have never felt so close to my heavenly Father as I do now after watching the series." Another brother stated that as he shares this message that families begin to change for the better as they begin to appreciate the deeper meaning of being made in the image of God and His Son. The book Identity Wars is available in English in many major bookstores including Amazon.com and Barnes and Nobles. We will soon have the Spanish version of Identity Wars published and available through the same book stores. If you visit our website www.identitywars.org you can download the audiobook, watch the video series and download the the ebook in a number of languages incuding German, Russian, Spanish, French, and Tamil. We are currently working on a Serbian, Chinesee and Hindi version of the book.

LIFE MATTERS: If you have not had the chance to read through the book LIfe Matters, I invite you to check it out. Life Matters takes the key principles of the Identity Message and applies to the family relationship. The book then outlines how the key teachings of the Bible are designed to restore the family unit as a channel of blessing. You download the abridged version of Life Matters from www.life-matters.org. Here is some recent feedback:

I?m especially grateful for the direction your ministry is more recently taking you. I?m very much interested in what you?re doing. Several weeks ago I downloaded LIFE MATTERS. I'm still reading/digesting/marking its early pages. I'm joyfully convinced that the Channel of Blessing concept as you are presenting it, is a sacred principle, a very much-needed, blessed Truth! I have never heard anything quite like this before, but it seems simple enough, quite clear and entirely connected to me. Indeed, the concept simply and reasonably builds further on what I've learned in the last 3-4 years, before coming across your book. Thanks so much for your careful treatment of the subject.
"Life Matters" is a magnificent book for singles, couples who are dating, married couples, and families with children. I read it as a single woman in my personal time, but it would also be wonderful for small group studies.

The book specifies the fundamental factors of reliable relationships, including Bible verses, charts, and anecdotes that develop the spiritual standards presented. It is the perfect "how-to" book for anyone struggling to build trustworthy relationships in a world that prioritises everything else before relationships. The book maintains a superb Biblical worldview throughout.

I'm grateful for the author's wish to assist individuals and families in building a "place they can point to with warmth and call home". The chapters on receiving value through the life source, God's earthly family in Genesis, the protection of the channel of blessing, and living in God's family kingdom are amazing. The author reveals a lot of his own private life - both hardship and victories. I'm thankful for his openness and I think his personal experiences are instrumental in demonstrating the practicality of the principles featured in this book, without being specific to his own journey. The book is definitely applicable to all!

If you are single and looking for healing before starting a relationship, if you are planning for marriage, or if you are raising a family - whatever your circumstances, you will absolutely love this book and find it extremely useful in any relationship. Read the whole book with real intent and really think about how it can help you deal with loved ones in your life.

Praise God for using the author to create an instrument of healing, that can be used to help individuals and families tackle all life matters and build relationships based on the channel of blessing!

We are especially thankful to a number of satelite TV ministries that are showing the Identity Wars series through different parts of the world.

Finally thank you to those who are supporting Maranatha Media with your prayers and gifts, this helps us to continue to share the message of our wonderful Father and His beloved Son Jesus.

May the sweet peace of Jesus fill our homes. As we look to Jesus, our submissive, obedient Saviour, let us in like manner be submissive, loving and gracious to those appointed to authority over us and let those in authority bless, protect and judge righteous judgment.

Blessings
Adrian Ebens
