God did not design that the people should do any fighting. He led them through the wilderness, in order that they might not see war. This is bringing together 25 years plus of research. And we might say, as Paul did at the beginning of Hebrews chapter 8, “Of all that we have said, this is the sum” – Character of God by Faith. We trace through some of the history on this subject, connecting character of God to righteousness, because I’m substituting the words character of God for the word righteousness. Is that a fair substitution? Find out in this presentation. And connecting this to the heart of Adventism, which relates to the cleansing of the sanctuary. We must always come back to this particular issue of the cleansing of the sanctuary. We shall look at some statements and reflect and seek to go line by line as we look at this.
