One man, unconnected with the Miller-ite movement in the United States of America, was more influential in preaching the literal prophetic understand-ing of Daniel and Revelation than any other - Joseph Wolff - known in his time as "Missionary to the World," a moniker agreed to by Ellen White, who used it in her book The Great Controversy.
Joseph Wolff preached in lands who hadn't heard the gospel preached in centuries. He spoke to kings and peasants, slave raiders and prostitutes. We have much to learn from him if we want to take the last message of mercy to a dying world.
