2018 Father of Love TRSC
Our Father in Heaven is truly merciful gracious and long suffering and is fully revealed in the life of His Son when He came to earth.
Presented: Jun 20, 2018 - Jun 24, 2018
The church finds it hard to reveal the love of God and the world does not see any love in a God who Genocides whole nations and consigns the wicked to hell.
Is it time to consider a God who is actually like Jesus and show this from the Bible itself?

How is it possible for God to be just like Jesus when He was here on earth. Anyone who reads the Old Testament seems to find plenty of evidence that God is a destroyer.
When Jesus came to reveal the Father. It brought a new wine, but such wine needs to be placed in a new wine skin or framework for it not to be lost.

The story is told of one ship that radio's another supposed ship and tells them to divert their course to avert collision. The voice comes back on the radio for the first ship to divert his course. The captain of the ship gets angry and begins to threaten the person on the radio until the voice on the other end says "This is the light house"
Through the lie of Inherent life mankind has a wrong view of God and see Him as imposing His law on us. This is why Scripture appears to be so contradictory for many.

The Bible speaks about the judgment when the books are open and the judgment is set. Every man will be judged for his words and deeds. Many have had great fear of how they will fair on the day of judgment. But Jesus clearly tells us that neither He or His Father judge anyone. John 5:22 and John 8:15
We will be judged as we judge and how we judge is defined by the God we believe in.

Is there a difference between God's justice and Satan's justice? Does God require the death of those who transgress Him? is this justice?

What is the meaning of the Brass on the Altar of Sacrifice in the Sanctuary service? Why did Moses lift up a serpent of Brass in the wilderness and how could this give life?
Brass is an alloy of Copper and Zinc. These elements have a tension when operating in the human body. What tension does the cross resolve for man? His own justice is satisfied and thus He can believe in mercy.

Beginning with the foundations of the Pentagon of Lies this presentation zeros down to the two covenants and explains how the mirror principle works through a number of Bible stories.
Jas 1:22-24 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. (23) For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; (24) for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.
2Cor 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

The First Angels message contains the ingredients that causes the fall of Babylon. These ingredients are
1. The Everlasting Gospel
2. Fear God - The True God that has a Son
3. Give Glory to Him - The truth of His Character
4. Hour of His Judgment - We are judged as we Judge
5. Worship Him that made - The Sabbath more fully
The subjects of the the two covenants, the Father and Son, the Character of God, the Judgement and the Sabbath are critical to the fall of Babylon.
These doctrines are directly connected to Escaping the Pentagon of Lies.

When we can grasp the dimensions of the cross and the sufferings of Christ from the foundation of the world then we will have a better understanding of the judgments that have taken place through the Old Testament. When we can grasp the love that God has for man then we must see His judgments in a different light.

The story of Elijah holds a very important key for the people of God in the last days
Mal 4:5-6 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: (6) And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
What is the meaning of the still small voice at Sinai for Elijah? Why was God not in the fire, wind and earthquake?
Why did Elijah and John the Baptist both have a giant struggle in their faith to where they both nearly lost their way? Elijah asked to die and John questioned if Jesus was even the Messiah.
And why did Jesus rebuke His disciples for wanting to bring fire down on unbelievers. Instead of saying it is not the right time - Jesus says
Luke 9:55-56 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. (56) For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. ...
Jesus doesn't come to destroy but to save.

When Adam sinned the ground brought forth thorns and thistles. When Cain killed his brother the earth no longer yielded its strength. The sins of men affect the earth.
Isa 24:5-6 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. (6) Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.
Natural disasters are not caused by God, they are caused by the sinfulness of mankind. The laws of nature designed by God to bless are turned into weapons of destruction through man's sinfulness. As man sows evil into the earth so he reaps a whirlwind

The role of God's angels in the great controversy is crucial to understanding the character of God. There are several stories in the Bible that suggest that the angels of God act as weapons of slaughter. The most notable examples are the destruction of the 185000 Assyrian soldiers and the slaying of the 70000 Israelites after David numbered the fighting men of the nation.
Are angels violent? Do they kill people when required?
We are advised to look into the face of Jesus to discover the answer.

The command of Moses to go through the middle of the camp of Israel and slay all those who refused to repent of their apostasy is a confronting picture of the judgments of God. Why would God command this and how does this harmonize with the character of God revealed in Christ? What also of the blessing pronounced upon Phinehas when he ran a Javelin through Zimri and his accomplice? What does this tell us about the character of God?

The Sabbath and the Feasts are a special gift of the Spirit of Christ. What is the timing of the calendar for when these appointments take place?

Did Jesus and His disciples celebrate the actual time of the passover or did the Pharisees the next day?
Luke 22:8 And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.
Matt 26:18 And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples.
Luke 22:15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
John 11:55 And the Jews' passover was nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves.
What are the implications of the difference between the two dates?
