Feedback on the booklet 'Devotions for Enoch and Julia'

I was blessed by the booklet entitled "Devotions for Enoch and Julia," which inspired me to write this feedback. It has greatly helped me understand the deep underlying principles of marriage and how it relates to our relationships with our families and community. Marriage is not just about personal happiness, being together, or having children. It goes beyond mere reproduction or fulfilling societal expectations. It's about companionship, supporting each other, and sharing a purpose that reflects God's principles.

What impressed me most about FatherofLove was their unique message on the Divine Pattern or the Source and Channel relationship, which is truly foundational. In this divine pattern of relationships, God the Father exercises headship, and Jesus exercises submission, not out of force or dominance, but purely out of love and mutual understanding. God doesn’t dominate Jesus; instead, He cares for Him. In turn, Jesus cares for us (the bride/church) in the same loving way. This reflects how relationships within a family should be—based on love, care, and voluntary submission, not force. Through the relationship of the Father and the Son, and the relationship between Christ and the Church, we are called (as the bride/church) to care for those around us who are under our care.

Furthermore, it is embarrassing to admit that I have been selfish, focusing more on my own needs than on others. I realize that I am personally married to Christ, and this calls me to reflect on my actions. Through this book, I have been convicted of my responsibility and commitment to living a life of faith and guiding others towards light and truth. Marriage calls me to let go of old ways, moving away from self-centeredness and focusing on the needs of others. As Philippians 2:4 advises, we should care for others as much as we care for ourselves. Hence, the principle of marriage has been a blessing, helping me maintain peace, harmony, and a good relationship with my parents. I honor and acknowledge my parents as a gift from God, regardless of the circumstances. By learning to live well with our family, we can also learn to care for others in our community, following Jesus' example of self-sacrifice.

Overall, just like a city on a hill that cannot be hidden, the principle of marriage encourages me to let light shine brightly, reflecting the goodness and guidance of heaven to those in need. I believe that each person has a role to play in bringing hope and peace to others through faith and action.
