The primitive church was inundated with a lot of things that changed it.

Paul's final testimony to the Ephesians is recorded in Acts chapter 20. Verses 29-31 states, "For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears."

The book of Revelation tells of the testimony of two witnesses.

"And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth." - (Revelation 2:3)

Who were these people that the Scripture refers to as clothed in sackcloth, and how does knowing their identity and what they believed help us in our own testimony and witness for Christ today?
