He [Christ] spoke of God, not as an avenging judge, but as a tender father, and He revealed the image of God as mirrored in Himself. His words were like balm to the wounded spirit. Both by His words and by His works of mercy He was breaking the oppressive power of the old traditions and man-made commandments, and presenting the love of God in its exhaustless fullness.

This chart is based on the text John 5:29. It describes two resurrections. One to life and one to damnation. On the left is described the events that occur at the Second Coming. This is the resurrection to life. Take your student through each of the texts describing the events that occur. On the right hand side are the events that occur at the end of the 1000 years. This is the resurrection to damnation. Between the two resurrections is the 1000 years. Show how that no one is alive on the earth during this time. They are either dead or in heaven. Then describe the events of the resurrection of damnation.
