How often have we, in an arrogant fashion, simply devoured the Pastor for Sabbath lunch..and dissected his sermon.! First Tim.2:1-3 clearly demonstrates that we have  the power to bless our Pastors and leaders by our petitions to our Heavenly Father on their behalf. Amen? They need our prayers for wisdom + strength,their job being a difficult one indeed! As  for leaders of our country, allow me to quote from 'Corrie ten Boom's Father said, "As Christians we are in the world, but not of the world. We must not give over our country to the enemy, because then we would be disobeying 1st Tim. chapter 2:1-2 which says... "First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, in order that we may lead a tranquil and quite life in all godliness and dignity"
