The earthly sanctuary services were appointed of God to help man know and understand exactly what God was willing to do for him. Every animal slain by the hand of the sinner was to be a miniature Calvary. It was to reveal to man the deep-seated enmity he held against God, but in the same instant to prove to him that God held nothing back, not even His Son, if by any means He could bring man to see his rebellion. It was in this way that God prepared the catalyst to break the proud and stubborn heart of man. Nothing less than “blood” could wash away such an awful sin as his, i.e., the will to kill God.

That They Might Know Thee

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. (Joh 17:3)

If the war we fight is because of what Lucifer began in heaven, then a right understanding of what happened, what has been revealed to us and what the issues truly were will be of utmost importance to us. How can we find our way back, if we know not from whence we came? If for any reason we have forgotten, Jesus came to show as the way, and the salvation that He made available for us is the entry point -the way He demonstrated in His life and sealed by His death and resurrection. Knowing Him exactly as He is, is the salvation many will need in these last days, and not only to be saved in a general sense from sin. In this knowing will the seeds of righteousness be sown, the knowing that makes us know who God is, what sin is in its plainest sense and yet most subtlety hidden and to where God is leading us. We need desperately to know the Son of God exactly as He is that we may know His Father as He is. In these last days a true knowing of the only true God will be a central pivot on which all matters will rest. Missing this central issue, will be to miss and wrongly seek to appropriate all the blessings of God and the true nature of the gospel and to what Christ came to redeem us back into.
