Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
What is the greatest blessing of the Sabbath but the gift of the Spirit of Jesus. The sweet abiding presence that calms our fears and sooths our soul. We wait in earnest expectation for Him to come in special measure for the 4th commandment shines brighter than the rest.
We await sweet fellowship as the Spirit of Christ comes and draws us up into the presence of the Father. We sense His joy, we feel His acceptance, for we have the mind of Christ and there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus!
Hallelujah! The Sabbath shines out like a mighty beacon in the darkness of this wicked world. May all find safe harbour who sail their ship into this most desirable port.
Happy Sabbath my friends, lo the Sabbath approaches on the shores of Eastern Australia. As the sunset sweeps across the land, may we be ready with earnest expectation even as we will be waiting at the Second Coming.
