Our Heavenly Father's Care For Little Things That Trouble Us

I bought a 'usb memory stick' to use between home and work.  I found one that was green - my favourite colour!

After unpacking it, I put it in a 'safe place' so I wouldn't lose it (as they are not that big).  Over the next few days, I forgot where that 'safe place' was.  For a few days I kept looking for it in all the places I could think of - at home and at work.  I thought I must have lost it - maybe I accidentally threw it out in some shopping bags.  It seemed I might have to spend the money all over again.

Yesterday, I thought, it must be here somewhere, so I started looking again.  Then I thought my Heavenly Father is interested in all the things that trouble us, so I asked Him (because of course He knew where it was) if he would show me where it was.  The instant after I prayed that prayer, I noticed a little zip pocket in my new computer bag that I'd forgotten was there.  I looked in there - and there was the usb memory stick.

I pray that these quotes may be a blessing to you - to realise how much our Heavenly Father cares about us in our everyday happenings, and wants to bless us, as we show our faith in Him.

What a wonderful God to help us in little things like that.  We could think that He would be too busy keeping the Universe running to be interested in the little things that puzzle us, but He is so close to us and knows our every thought, by His Spirit.  I had cause to Praise Him for His care for me.

Luke 12:7: But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
Acts 17:28: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
Keep your wants, your joys, your sorrows, your cares, and your fears before God. You cannot burden Him; you cannot weary Him. He who numbers the hairs of your head is not indifferent to the wants of His children. “The Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.” James 5:11. His heart of love is touched by our sorrows and even by our utterances of them. Take to Him everything that perplexes the mind. Nothing is too great for Him to bear, for He holds up worlds, He rules over all the affairs of the universe. Nothing that in any way concerns our peace is too small for Him to notice. There is no chapter in our experience too dark for Him to read; there is no perplexity too difficult for Him to unravel. No calamity can befall the least of His children, no anxiety harass the soul, no joy cheer, no sincere prayer escape the lips, of which our heavenly Father is unobservant, or in which He takes no immediate interest. “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.”Psalm 147:3. The relations between God and each soul are as distinct and full as though there were not another soul upon the earth to share His watchcare, not another soul for whom He gave His beloved Son. {SC 100.1}
