Story of Hannah

Adrian Ebens parallels the experience of the rejected woman, the first wife of Elkanah, barren and tormented by a second wife who has many children--with the Advent people who grow slowly until a new wife is taken in 1931 and 1980 when church grown explodes in acceptance with the sisterhood of churches who extend the right hand of fellowship. But Hannah weeps and fasts and prays. She is blessed by an undisciplined church leader and gives birth to one who will deliver the message that brings down the apostate priesthood.
