Blessing My Family

Gen 25:21  And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

Dear Father

As Isaac prayed for seed for His wife to bless her, so I pray for the seed of wisdom to be given to my wife to grow in her heart to allow her to face the challenges of of life with confidence and courage. May she nurture my sons and may they find comfort in her caring touch. Father, may my sons see how much I treasure their mother and treat her with respect and honour her as she deserves. Grant my wife strength and protect her from Satan's doubts, accusations and temptations. May she rest in my love and be blessed today.

I thank you that you have heard me because of your wonderful Son - our Lord Jesus Christ.

Dear Father

You have given me the guardianship of my home. May my wife and children find a protective shield in me. You have shown me that I am a channel to bless or curse my family, let me be a blessing to them. Keep me from evil so that I may shield them from evil. Let my words be words of blessing, love, comfort and encouragement. Let the decisions I make bless and not curse. Give me a heart to consider their needs and make their joyful. My family is my kingdom and I want to make them happy and joyful in their daily activities.

Guard them from the evil one, protect their thoughts and forgive their sins Father. May I be the example they need. Let me be humble when I fail and ask their forgiveness. May I open no doors in my mind to allow Satan past me to attack my family. I am the first line of defense, help me not to fail them.

May my wife feel your love through me, may she know that I cherish her and greatly value her friendship. She is a ruby of great value and you gave her to me to bless me. What a blessing she has been - even more today than in earlier days. Grant her health and wisdom to look after our precious sons. May she find blessing in caring for them. May her words be wise to them and may they listen carefully to her instruction.

Thank you Father for answering this prayer and pouring your blessings upon us. Thank you for making me a shield of strength for my family. In Jesus Name
