There is no greater subject than knowing who God and His son are for the Bible tells us, “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” John 17:3. When describing God we want to use the words of inspiration as any deviation from what the Bible teaches is idolatry because it is a false view of God. Nearly all Churches have a creed describing God as three persons in one God and yet the Bible does not express this actual formula anywhere. Jesus tells us to beware lest anyone deceive us for He said that many would come in Him claim He was Christ but would deceive many. Matt 24:5. It is essential to read and compare carefully just what the Bible teaches reading the Bible as naturally and simply as possible.
