God said: In the day you eat thereof you shall surely die. Gen 2:17
Man says: This is interpreted to mean, when you die, you transition to another state of being.

God says: Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Ex 20:8
Man says: The Sabbath is a spiritual rest that is fulfilled in Christ or was changed to Sunday by the authority of the church.

God says: In six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth. Ex 20:11
Man says: The six days are six indefinite periods of time that represent millions of years.

God says: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. Eccl 12:13
Man says: The commandments were nailed to the cross or Christ kept them for me so I am free from the law, or victory over sin is really a state of maturity because we can’t keep the commandments.

God says: This is my beloved Son, (Matt 3:17) the only begotten Son which I gave you. (John 3:16)
Man says: Jesus is a spiritual son not a literal one. He was only begotten on earth, not in eternity or he is eternally, mystically generated, yet the second person in the one essence or spirit being called God.

God says
1 John 5:12,13  He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Man says
Luke 19:14  (But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying,) We will not have this man to reign over us. We will not accept you as God’s Son by inheritance, we will decide what the name Son means, we will decide how divinity is defined and we will not accept the plain reading of Scripture. Scripture will submit to us and our own determination.

Jesus says:
Mat 16:15-17  He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

John 8:42 I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

John 5:43,44  I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?

Matt 4:4  Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Matt 7:21  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Luke 10:26  how readest thou?
