A. Life/Blessing flow through the Individual Channel
Eze 14:14 Even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they would deliver only themselves by their righteousness," says the Lord God.
People are saved as individuals and the ultimate responsibility for a person’s salvation is themselves. The channel of blessing for the individual comes through personal prayer and Bible study. Through this process a person receives spiritual life directly from God and is blessed and guided. In terms of receiving instruction the only authority that the conscience can completely submit to is the Bible and the Bible alone.…

A Response to the Question by Pr David Asscherick
What did Ellen White mean when she employed phrases like "third person of the Godhead", "three Living persons in the heavenly trio", "the three holiest beings in heaven", "the three great powers of heaven", "the three highest powers in the universe", and "the three great worthies in heaven"?

April 30 Update - Theos Series
Theos Series
A few weeks ago I was contacted by Gary Hullquist via God-head.com. During our dialog he alerted me to a series of studies that he had worked on and put together into 5 magazines. I was so blessed by reading Gary's research that I asked him if we could make them available on God-head.com.
Gary has graciously allowed us to do this. I highly recommend this series to you. He has included many EGW and pioneers references that I had not seen before. His study and writing style is refreshingly straight…

My Heavenly Father and I began our relationship the moment I was conceived (Jer 1:5; Ps 139;13) but the pity is I didn't know it then! The beauty is that I do now and rejoice in the knowing. Even today it makes me teary, but also warm and fuzzy and most of all there is this incredible feeling of safety in being known, accepted and loved! This feeling of complete safety I can honestly say I have never before experienced in my entire life.....Strange! Because everyone born into this world with mother, father, siblings and home, as I was, should…
Reading the Old Testament Through the New Testament

The thought that God would actually keep His own commandments and not kill anyone as the commandments state while being extremely logical presents several problems to readers of the Bible. People approach many of the stories of the Old Testament like approach the law of God without the mercy seat. The reference is made to plain statements such as these:

The Atonement Ark of Safety
Dear Maranatha Media Subscriber
Over the past few months we have been studying and discussing the subject of the atonement in the context of the character of God, the sacrificial system and the actual penalty of sin. This study process culminated in the two presentations called:
As in the Days of Noah
The Atonement, The Identity of the Son and the Character of God
With a deep sense of wonder and joy we discovered that the gopher wood that the ark was made from is the Hebrew root word for the…

The Close of Probation
Dear Maranathamedia Subscriber
There is a growing chorus of voices who claim to be wise and have understanding of the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation. The idea is gaining ground that the close of probation is about to take place. We know that that coming of Christ is very soon but Satan would unsettle the faith of His people through false understandings of prophecy. The Lord gave to the Adventist pioneers a solid prophetic platform to build upon. Ellen White recommended the book Daniel and Uriah Smith many times as…

Dear Subscriber
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. It has been a few months since our last newsletter and many things have taken place in that time. As I interact with many of you from around the world there is a growing sense of gratitude to our wonderful Father for the gift of His Son to show us His true character and to assure us of His forgiving love.
One event that has really increased momentum in the message has been the book by Jay Schulberg called…

Though the whole world forget
The flowers cannot
But bear record of the wonders
Their Creator has wrought.
Bringing light out of darkness
As the earth was first born,
Though the family of heaven
Had been tragically torn.

“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” Eccl 4:9-12
When I became a Christian, this was one of the verses that I committed to memory. As I read it…
06. Identifying the Church

Placing ourselves correctly in our communities means that we need to identify who are the people and institutions that we are to show respect to as well as identify those who are under our care and that we are to protect and bless. Living in western society has flattened many aspects of the divine pattern and blurred the channel system for many. Even so, most of us can identify two cords of the threefold cord.
Most of us can identify our parents or guardians from childhood and the civil authorities in our lives such as government leaders and police are…

Rev 18:1-2 After these things I saw another angel coming down out of heaven, having great authority; and the earth was lightened with his glory. (2) And he cried with a mighty voice, saying, Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, and is become a habitation of demons, and a hold of every unclean spirit, and a hold of every unclean and hateful bird.
What we have tried to present in this series is simply this:
This message was to bring more prominently before the world the uplifted Saviour, the sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. It presented justification…

A. The Son of God, the Centre of Great Controversy
Luk 19:12-14 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come. But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.
In this parable Jesus tells the story of a nobleman who went to receive a kingdom. The nobleman of course is Christ. The citizens of the kingdom…

A. Questioning the Plain Statements of Scripture
From the beginning of time Satan has tried to confuse the human race about the meaning of God’s statements. Satan’s first statement to Eve was not a direct attack on what God had said but rather an insertion of doubt as to what God really meant. “Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” The implication and manner of question assumes a completely different framework of understanding. Satan’s question suggests that there must be some kind of mistake here.[1] Satan does not seek to establish any reason…
